Job Summary
The Parking Support Coordinator provides high level support to the Parking & Transportation office and directly supports the Director of PTS and Parking Operations Manager. Incumbent acts as back-up for front office operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate primary administrative office support for the Parking & Transportation Services department.
  • Maintains calendar and daily schedule of meetings for department Director and Operations Manager.
  • Prepares drafts of correspondence, i.e. memos, letters, reports, and emails. Proofreads for clarity and completeness, checking spelling and punctuation.
  • Coordinates all operational activities, including work orders, supply orders, provides admin support to the various areas within the department.
  • Prepare and processes expenditure, purchasing and travel documents for the department.
  • Processes payroll for all Parking departments.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in computer operating systems, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook. Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the ability to coordinate projects and set-up meetings. The ability to work in an environment that entails the safekeeping of confidential information. The ability to prepare and process a wide variety of financial documents, and the ability to maintain spreadsheets and accurately enter data. The ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required.
Licenses / Certificates
This position will be required to operate a university vehicle/cart. Valid CA Driver's License is required.

Administrative Support Coordinator I
The target salary for this position is $3,505 per month.

The salary range for this classification is $3,505 to $5,508 per month.
Excellent benefits through CalPERS (health, vision, dental), tuition fee waiver, generous vacation and sick leave, and 14 paid holidays each year.
Time Base
Full-time temporary position for one year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
