Job Summary
Identify broad philanthropic, stakeholder-engagement, and brand-management trends in higher education through published studies, articles, information resources, and professional organizations. Lead applicable primary market research specific to the division's responsibilities. Track divisional metrics and complete routine reports. Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to inform the division about emerging trends or shifting performance dynamics and make actionable recommendations about appropriate changes in strategies and tactics. Produce and maintain a reference collection of assistive written and/or infographic-based one-sheets and white papers on appropriate analyses, market research findings, and emerging trends, collaborating as appropriate with graphic designers in the division.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Experience designing and leading assistive market research to inform divisional decision-making and necessary changes in strategies and tactics. Ability to identify and interpret data patterns and trends. Superior written and verbal presentation skills in English. Superior organization skills. Superior skills in applicable software applications to support the responsibilities of this position. Familiarity with news media, subscription services, and professional organizations that provide applicable information and analyses to support the responsibilities of this position. Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student, and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Five (5) years of experience in a higher-education or nonprofit position that included responsibilities for measuring and interpreting stakeholder-engagement or philanthropic performance, preferred.

Compensation
The salary range for this classification is $3,288 to $6,347 per month.
