Position Function: Reporting to the Senior Director of Foundation Operations, the Executive Project Manager is responsible for performing a wide variety of project management and executive administrative duties to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the BSUF Foundation. Provides executive level support and analysis to the Sr. Director and the Foundation President such as analysis of complex, confidential, and sensitive issues and special projects that support the objectives of the Foundation.
The successful candidate models discretion and confidentiality; contributes to a positive work environment through action and communication and promotes collaboration with the campus community. This individual is a servant-leader with the leadership, diplomacy, and governance skills to support the day-to-day planning, strategies and operations of the Ball State Foundation and governance boards. This position directly interfaces with key volunteers and staff from across the Foundation associated with the Foundation Board, Alumni Council, and strategic planning to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are engaged, informed, and have visibility into the planning details.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Or, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree with an additional two years of related experience.
- Three years of related experience.
- Competency using interpersonal skills with tact, patience and courtesy.
- Ability to work confidentially with discretion.
- Ability to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to compose correspondence and prepare reports independently and from oral instructions.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.

Preferred Qualifications: Additional years of related experience; project management experience; donor relations experience.
