Position Function: The Assistant Director of Disability Services is a member of the Disability Services leadership team and helps facilitate the office’s efforts to provide access and opportunity for Ball State students with disabilities. The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Disability Services and supports the Director in supervising staff and managing the accessibility initiatives of Disability Services.
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
- At least one year of experience (professional or para professional) in higher education.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse social, cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related area. Experience in disability services in higher education and involvement with disability/access issues.

Pay for this position starts at $40,000, with a maximum salary of $42,000.Review of applications will begin immediately and will be accepted through 08/22/2022.
