Ball State University Information Technology is seeking an enterprise data analyst and project manager. In this role you will work with area functional team members to understand, build, support, manage and enhance processes regarding our enterprise reporting solution and Banner security. This includes support of incidents (Break/ fix), requests, creation of project plans and the follow through to resolve all open issues; provide proactive support/guidance on all university systems. Position Function: Provide enterprise level project support as a member of the Enterprise Systems Project Support Office (EPSO); Follow through on requests to grant and remove user access to Banner systems and share in the maintenance of Banner security infrastructure; work with other EPSO team members to manage project requests, create project plans for approved project requests and follow through on project closure. Lead, analyze, develop enterprise reports as requests while supporting, granting security access, and maintaining the university reporting solution. Maintain awareness among university technical leads of upcoming Banner upgrades, patches and other maintenance. Facilitate the creation of automated processes requested by business units and see those processes to satisfactory completion. Provide checks to ensure that users with access to sensitive information maintain a business need to see it.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by date of appointment.
Or, in lieu of Bachelor’s degree:
- Associate’s degree plus an additional combination of education or experience in IT equivalent to two years.
- High school diploma or GED plus an additional combination of education or experience in IT equivalent to four years.
At least three years working with information systems, project management; two years’ experience with using and creating reports in an enterprise reporting solution; experience granting user (security) access; experience working with project management staff and a firm understanding of project management guidelines. At least two years’ experience in working with and practical knowledge of ERP (Banner), ServiceNow (incident management/ security) and SQL.
Minimum Other: Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills. At least three years of training experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
