The Indiana Academy is accepting applications for the position of Student Life Counselor.

Position Function: Work with high school students to make significant contributions to their academic, personal, social, and physical development; encourage involvement in Indiana Academy programs and events; provide opportunities for problem solving and honest feedback; plan and support activities and be involved in student retention efforts; maintain a healthy relationship with the students while remaining professional at all times. (10-month contract)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university by date of first pay period.
- Experience working with students or youth of any age;
- experience as a volunteer, working with, or helping others in a school, in-home, or any other setting
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy;
- must be 21 years of age
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a resident assistant or summer residential camp counselor; experience with gifted high school students.
