Ball State University welcomes application for an Executive Project Manager to manager and coordinate multiple high-level special projects and initiatives across Business and Auxiliary Services and the Division of Business Affairs.

Position Function: Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Business and Auxiliary Services, the Executive Project Manager serves as a member of the Business and Auxiliary Services leadership team and as liaison between each unit Executive Director/Director and the Associate Vice President for Business and Auxiliary Services. Collaborates across Business and Auxiliary Services, the Division of Business Affairs, and the university to help advance strategic goals/priorities and to streamline processes ensuring optimal communication and coordination.
Minimum Salary: $52,000
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Three years of professional administrative experience in higher education or related field from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities could be acquired to perform significant administrative responsibility in university project management, strategic communications development, and special projects and research.
Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic office environment. Experience maintaining a high level of initiative and attention to detail, with ability to maintain flexibility in a changing work environment. Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks with competing priorities. Collaborative nature with the ability to work independently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, diplomacy, and commitment to professionalism. Good judgment and ability to interact with a diverse group of people. Exceptional discretion and respect for confidentiality and sensitive matters.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience working directly/closely with management and leadership. Experience acting as a liaison for management and leadership.
