Supervision

  • Supervise Assistant Residential Learning Coordinators (Grad Students), 7-14 Resident Assistants, and 10-15 and student desk staff members

Teaching and Learning

  • Develop and implement intentional learning experiences through the implementation of the Residential Curriculum.
  • Teach a for-credit, pre-hire student leadership class

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Develop inclusive residential learning communities.
  • Promote equity through the (1) identification and removal of barriers; (2) facilitation of learning; (3) cultivation of community; and (4) empowerment of people.
  • Leadership
  • Provide departmental leadership through involvement in department and division-wide committees
  • Serve as an advisor to residence life student organizations
  • Take lead on departmental initiatives.

Position Function: Facilitate student learning and development; coordinate residential curriculum model in residence halls; manage administrative functions in two designated residence halls. There is typically a four-year limit of service as a Residential Learning Coordinator at Ball State.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university by September 1, 2022. Residence hall administration experience. Must be available to begin work on July 1, 2022.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in discipline represented within student affairs administration.

Pay Amount: $36,000
