Job Description
The Department of Early Childhood, Youth, and Family Studies has a one year, full time, on campus position available August 19, 2022. Primary duties include teaching undergraduate students in one or more of the following areas: early childhood curriculum (including infant and toddler curriculum), prosocial development, culture and language in teaching and learning, family relationships, wellness, nutrition, health and safety, leadership, kindergarten education, teaching in the kindergarten/primary grades and other content areas related to children. Responsibilities also include service to the department, college, and university; collecting assessment data for specific courses; and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or closely related field from an accredited institution completed by date of appointment. Currently holds or has held a teaching license.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related field from an accredited institution; a record of successful teaching content related to children and families; classroom experience in early childhood settings; experience with online teaching; effective oral and written communication skills.
