The Department of Elementary Education has a temporary (one-year), full-time contract faculty position available for the 2022-23 academic year. Primary responsibilities will include teaching on-campus undergraduate courses in elementary education and partnering with schools and community agencies, and performing other duties assigned by the department chairperson.

Duties & Responsibilities: Teaching responsibilities will be primarily in the undergraduate teacher preparation program, including teaching and supervising practicum courses in local schools. Additionally, the faculty member will be expected to perform other duties assigned by the department chairperson including serving on departmental committees.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in elementary education or related field from an accredited institution. At least three years of elementary classroom teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in elementary education or related field from an accredited institution, university teaching experience, knowledge and experience working with diverse learners, and experience partnering with schools and/or community agencies
