7-14 Resident Assistants, 10-15 desk staff members
ENGAGEMENT & INVOLVEMENT
Create a community development plan, serve on departmental
committees, teach a for credit leadership course and serve as the advisor
to hall council and other residence life student organizations
LIVING & LEARNING COMMUNITIES
Support living-learning programs and services and partner with faculty
members and other academic partners
Work to ensure the safety and well-being of students and facilities
by serving as part of the on-call duty rotation for residence halls for a
particular area of campus. You will have great colleagues, valuable training and professional development opportunities!

Position Function: Facilitate student development; coordinate student related programs; manage administrative functions in two designated residence halls. (There is typically a four-year limit of service as a Residence Hall Director at Ball State University.)
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university earned by September 1, 2022. Residence hall administration experience. Must be available to begin work on July 1, 2022.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in discipline represented within student affairs administration.
