Job Description
The College of Health invites applications for the Director of Student Services. The Director will design, deliver and evaluate programs and services for recruitment and retention of students within an inclusive excellence framework. This will include coordinating and evaluating college student recruitment and admission activities, working with professional advisors and faculty to create programming to increase and sustain rates of student persistence and retention, working with the Deans office in all areas of student-related policies and procedures, and serving as a college liaison to university student services.

Position Function: Manage the Office of Student Success overseeing student services; Design, plan, deliver, and evaluate programs/services to ensure recruitment and retention of students within an inclusive excellence framework; Coordinate student activities across programs with college and university organizations.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution. Three years of experience in higher education student programming such as advising, admissions, retention; supervisory experience. Ability to work with faculty, administration, and governance bodies; Office computer skills; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Commitment to and evidence of inclusive excellence practices, including BIPOC, first-generation, and sexual and gender minority students.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Higher Education/Student Services. Demonstrated experience in leading teams and conflict management.
