Position Function: The Director will supervise all admissions communications strategy and insights in support of Undergraduate, Graduate, and International Admissions. Responsible for providing research, insights, strategic action plan analysis, market trend evaluation, and understanding behavioral insights of prospective and current students enhancing marketing and enrollment success. The Director will also provide critical analysis of new student enrollment trends and manage models and partnerships with third party partners to predict enrollment. Will lead efforts with digital marketing, web development, social media, media relations, internal communications, community relations, and print publications. Serves on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Slate team. Work collaboratively with a variety of campus stakeholders (including Academic Colleges and Deans) to maintain and advance campus initiatives and contribute to the leadership and resource planning for campus insight and marketing development. Participate in strategic long-range planning, marketing, team building, goal setting, and assessment of office policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. At least five years of experience in marketing/communications/research/analysis; writing and editing experience, supervisory experience; CRM experience; information/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams, creative problem-solving skills, ethical, and trustworthy. Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. Additional years of admissions marketing experience in higher education with progressive responsibilities; knowledge of enrollment communication and marketing best practices; experience with the day to day operations of an admissions office with an understanding of student recruitment and yield communications, and staff supervision in a professional setting; experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and statistical software programs such as SPSS, SAS, Stata, or equivalent; Google Analytics knowledge; experience with social media monitoring tools/analytics (i.e. Sprout Social, Rival IQ, etc.); visual story telling or information/data design skills.
