Job Description
The Assistant Athletic Director and Trainer assists the Athletic Director with all aspects of managing K – 12 athletics for Burris Laboratory School and the Indiana Academy including, but not limited to, assisting with scheduling, rosters, equipment, and contest/practice set ups. This position will also work with coaches to ensure safety of student athletes including, but not limited to, attending games and practices as determined by schedule and need.

Position Function:
- Managing K -12 athletics for Burris Laboratory School & Indiana Academy
- Assisting with scheduling, rosters, equipment and contest/practice set ups
- Work with coaches to ensure safety of athletes
- Attending games and practices as determined by schedule and need.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Sports Management, Exercise Science, or related field from an accredited institution. Experience coaching K-12 or college athletics; experience serving as exercise specialist or trainer.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director experience, advance degree in Sports Management; medical professional certification.
