Position Function: Reporting directly to the Deputy Athletic Director of Marketing and Strategic Initiatives, responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Overseeing the implementation and execution of marketing and advertising plans for assigned sports
- Oversee all student marketing to include student ticketing, loyalty and rewards digital platforms
- Work with social media staff to increase student awareness and attendance
- Organize and supervise all on campus marketing endeavors
- Organize and manage new student orientation presence and other campus event participation
- Serve as the game day producer for assigned sports, assist in management of student staff
- Manage the mascot program, kids club and perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned or requested
- Adheres to all NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules and regulations
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in communications, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, sport administration or related field. One year of departmental experience in a related field.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in communications, marketing, public relations, technical writing, digital media, sport administration or related field. Two years relevant experience in intercollegiate athletics, sports business industry or related agency work. Graphic Design experience.
