Position Function: Coordinate and maintain a program which protects the integrity of Ball State University through compliance with NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and university regulations by student-athletes, coaches, Ball State University employees, and representatives of Ball State University’s athletic interests.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Two years of experience in NCAA Division I compliance in a university or athletics environment gained concurrently or at any time. Excellent written and oral communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills; working knowledge of NCAA programs; working knowledge of Banner, Compliance Assistance; excellent organizational skills; ability to make informed decisive decisions in a fast-paced and demanding environment; knowledge and familiarity with the NCAA Division I Manual.
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. Five years of experience in NCAA Division I athletics compliance gained concurrently or at any time and knowledge of ARMS software program. Familiarity with LSDBI program; experience in preparation of APR and GSR.
