Educational and Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Two years relevant specialist experience. Certifications may be required. Experience in Higher Education and specialized work is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position:

Assists the Engagement Technology team with with various initiatives and objectives. Performs complex managerial work providing direction and guidance in operations and planning in the department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Executes and follows through on complex and technical responsibilities. Plans, develops, implements, coordinates and monitors programs, services and activities. Responds to information requests. Collects, reconciles, and maintains complex data. Monitors project timelines and identifies issues. Prepares letters, correspondence, and reports on the effectiveness of program activities. Coordinates and implements various engagement and outreach pieces for both print and web. Assists in the development of outreach plans and strategies for the departments within the Division of Enrollment Success. Supervises, tracks, and evaluates the distribution detailed operational information to students regarding their enrollment status. Creates and interprets policies and procedures. Oversees the work of assigned program staff. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws. Ability to manage business functions. Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, faculty, and administrators. Strong interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and presentation skills. Ability to identify and respond to educational trends and institutional needs. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Banner, DegreeWorks, EAB Navigate, and Gecko Engage desired. Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives. Ability to exercise discretion, excellent reasoning, and independent judgment. Skilled in directing multiple tasks, setting priorities, and organizing operations. Strong communication skills, both orally and written.

Up to 60% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.

This position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
