Working knowledge of PeopleSoft student records system, preferred. Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills (including grammar, sentence construction, punctuation, spelling, and vocabulary) to compose and proofread professional level copy of letters, proposals, reports, meeting notes, invitations and announcements. Skill in reading Standard English for understanding information (e.g. business correspondence, legal and contract documents and University manuals, policies, procedures and regulations). Ability to respond independently to inquiries via phone, in person, or email. Familiarity with CSU LB Campus, HR/Purchasing/ Travel/ Budgeting Experience, preferred. Working knowledge of CSU LB campus, logistics, policies/procedures. Experience in processing personnel documents, purchasing requisitions, travel requests, preferred. Working knowledge of standard safe work practices including office security and a safe working environment.

Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Education and Experience
- Equivalent to four years of administrative support experience required. Experience in a service-oriented environment such as a women's resource center, gender equity center, cultural student resource center or comparable functional area preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- CA Driver's License preferred.
Administrative Support Coordinator I
The hiring range for this position is $3,276 to $3,407/month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $3,276 to $5,148 per month.
