Educational Requirements for the PositionBachelor’s degree in recreation, parks and recreation, sports management or a related field. Two years of experience in a professional, supervisory capacity of a recreation-oriented program or experience in a related field. Adventure trip leading, climbing wall management, and/or challenge course experience preferred. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience
Nature & Purpose of Position
Oversees or assist in the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of the daily operations and personnel within the Outdoor Program, Bearkat Camp, Challenge Course, Student Development and Gear Rentals.
Up to 20% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
This position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
