This position will provide high-level support in the planning, organization, and administration of activities within Advancement (Major Gifts, Development, and Corporate Relations and Sponsorships) offices at the Ball State University Foundation. Performs a variety of complex assignments in support of the day-to-day operations. This position requires frequent contact with donors, external constituents, and internal constituents in order to coordinate fundraising efforts within Advancement.

Minimum qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent in business administration or related area. Three years in development, donor relations, marketing, public relations, or related experience. Ability to work at a high level of discretion and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information; strong organization, management, and interpersonal skills together with computer literacy, including familiarity with database management; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work as part of an organization without direct daily supervision; ability to work as a team member in a complex institution.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Additional years of related experience. Supervisory experience; experience with donor relations; experience with advancement databases; skills in time management and meeting deadlines.
