Job Summary

Under general direction of the Director of Operations and dally direction of the Receiving and Mail Services Lead, the Incumbent provides support for the Receiving and Mail Services operation by handling shipments and mail to and from campus, staging, sorting and delivering shipments.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of methods, practices and equipment used in receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of materials and mail.

Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to safety, civility, information security, and non-discrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the university's commitment to a "vision of excellence."
Education and Experience

Equivalent to two years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse in the performance of work involving the receipt, storage, and issuance of a variety of supplies, material, and equipment required. Mail processing experience preferred.
Licenses / Certificates

Valid CA Driver's License.

Compensation

The targeted salary may be set as high as $3,338 per month based on experience. The salary range for this classification is $3,338 to $5,311 per month.

Time Base

Full-time temporary position for one (1) year with no permanent status granted. Temporary assignments may expire prior to the ending date.
