Duties
Summary
This position is with the Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, located in Boston, Massachusetts, Chicago, Illinois, Cleveland, Ohio, Houston, Texas, Kansas City, Missouri, Las Vegas, Nevada, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ontario, California, and Seattle, Washington.
- Developing knowledge skills and abilities over time, and with the guidance of more senior Trade Specialists, to perform a range of organization-specific responsibilities, including U.S. export facilitation, foreign direct investment promotion, trade promotion.
- Participating with senior specialists in making recommendations on trade issues, policy positions, or negotiating strategies, and developing and disseminating trade information to U.S. businesses or associations.
- Operating in a dynamic domestic and international business environment requires dedicated effort to sustain expertise, collaborate, and maximize the benefits to all U.S. business interests.
- Operating as a team member committed to continuous improvement in the domestic field, international, and headquarters network assigned to perform the following cross-cutting duties, applicable to most ITA organizational environments.
