Summary

This position is located in the Department of Commerce, Global Markets/Advocacy Center, Boston, Massachusetts, Dallas, Texas, and Irvine, California. The primary purpose of these positions is to coordinate U.S. government engagement on behalf of U.S. companies bidding on international government procurement opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Manages Advocacy cases including client counseling, case intake, Advocacy strategy development and execution.
  • Coordinates inter-agency engagement on Advocacy cases including working closely with overseas posts and partner agencies, such as the State Department, USTDA, ExIm Bank and other agencies.
  • Carries out outreach related to Advocacy through engagement with foreign delegations, joint client calls with USEAC specialists and participation in events and speaking engagements;
  • Provides other support to the U.S. Export Assistance Center as needed.
