HNIP/GR Administrative Assistant HNIP/Government Relations Administrative Assistant: Under the general supervision of HACU’s National Internship Program’s (HNIP) Assistant Vice President and Senior Vice President for Policy and Government Relations and the direct supervision of the Director of Operations, the Administrative Assistant is tasked with keeping the Washington D.C. office in order through his/her administrative work in different areas. Assistance to the HNIP team and the Government Relations (GR) office will fluctuate through the course of the year. HACU is seeking a person who is a problem-solver with great customer service. This person will need to be adept at project management since he/she will need to manage and advance HACU’s national internship program and many GR projects. The person must be a team-player with exceptional interpersonal skills with a minimum of one (1) year of service-oriented experience. Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in education, communication, business, social science, or related field. Experience in service related industries along with experience in career counseling, diversity recruitment, student development, and/or program management. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
