NACRJ Description

NACRJ is a memberships association composed of practitioners, educators, trainers, academics and others interested in promoting a safe, just, equitable and sustainable society through uses of community and restorative justice practices. The NACRJ was established in June 2013 after conducting four bi-annual conferences. In June 2019 the 7th NACRJ Conference in Denver, CO was attended by 1,627 people of which roughly 70% were educators. Our annual membership ranges between 600 and 700 members by the end of each membership year.

While NACRJ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation chartered in San Antonio, TX the Executive Director position is not place specific as all the duties and responsibilities can be carried out remotely using online capabilities.

Mission Statement

We advance community and restorative justice as a social movement by serving people and organizations committed to building community and addressing harm. NACRJ provides guidance and support to establish high quality practices with fidelity to restorative principles.
